Layer Properties manager

Hi All... Hope everyone is OK... I've been extremely busy here at work, so I've been unable to spend much time online...  :-(

I seem to have a small problem with the layer properties manager. Normally it has a status line to say how many layers in the drawing etc. On this computer there is no status line. Is there a variable that switches this information off? The other computer that runs Map 3d 2006 has the status line, but not this one :(
Any suggestions?

Finally managed to get the .net framework downloaded and installed. It worked a treat.
