Alright, I tried it.

I uploaded a scanned drawing.... but then what?

All it did was ask for my email address, then nothing. I have checked that account several times and still nothing.

Is it supposed to email the .dwg to that email account?

Is this really just a scam to collect email addresses for people that do CAD?

Well, I guess I didn't wait long enough.

After uploading the file twice, I ended up getting an email stating 'The conversion has failed.'

I thought it was a pretty clean copy. I guess not.

That sucks.  I did it with a simple PDF I did not try anything to complex.
Oh well.  I just found that and I thought it was worth posting.

Thanks for posting it though.

Just because it didn't work for me, doesn't mean it won't work for someone else. - It worked for you!

^^^^

i think the problem was that you uploaded a raster based pdf - you'll get the same isue if you run any pdf - dwg converter with a pdf derived from a jpeg, bmp tiff,

if you're working with a pdf printed from autocad or microstation, then it should work

Yes, it was a Raster file.

There is really no need for another Vector .pdf to CAD prg, as there are already sooo many out there already.

I had hoped for the Raster conversion. There are some of these also, but they typically do some type of 'tracing' over the image, which often gives many unwanted lines / dots due to poor image quality.

We have basically gone to either true CAD or just insert the .pdf into our dwgs as is. Conversions are just too time consuming and what we usually end up with isn't a significant improvement over just using the image.
