.SID to .PDF Conversion
« on: April 27, 2010, 11:19:38 AM »
I have a drawing with a .sid file in it and I need to convert it to pdf.  The last time I had done this was in 2006 (AFAIK) and I believe I used Acrobat Distiller, which I no longer have.

When I use my current pdf 'printer', I get some weird results.  Only a portion of the drawing linework comes through.  The border doesn't get converted and neither does the .sid image.  I'm using the Adobe PDF Converter, which is newer by a few years and so far, I can't find an option that would fix this problem.

Anyone have any ideas?

What version of AutoCAD are you using? The built in DWG-to-PDF.PC3 file works fine in 2010.
Can't speak for "Adobe's" tools.

Funny you say that.  I was just coming back in here to say that I tried that one and it worked!

Now, I just have to reduce the file size.

Thanks for the tip!  :)
