Attribute not showing up on some layouts
« on: March 13, 2006, 03:02:06 PM »
I have a 2006 dwg that has an attribute in each layout tab.  On the first tab the attribute will plot but on the second tab the attribute will not plot.  Can someone please put some eyes on this for me?

I ran an audit (found 1 error) and now it shows up.

Thanks Lin-Z,  that worked.  How does that happen anyway?  All those blocks were inserted with the insert command.

Sometimes things just get a little bug-ee.  You could insert the exact same block in the exact same way in 20 different layouts and you may never get the same type of problem twice.  Working with the 2006 software (espacially Civil 3D  :-( )  has gotten me into the habit of doing full saves every 5 to 10 minutes depending on the project and AUDITing at the slightest hint of things starting to misbehave.

I added an audit macro to my custom mnl file so every drawing is purged and audited on opening.  Saves a lot of trouble
