Thanks for your input guys, the database is going well so far.  Quick question, I cant seem to get into the lillypond.  I want to post an example report I made.  I know there was a server change over, is there another way to get there?  Or am I missing something?

Okay, here is a sample report I've created for this system.  It's just a simple report from MS Access.

This is a dream I once had a couple of years ago.  I created these screenshots myself in an image editing program, but the plan was to eventually create it in html with an Access back end.  I wanted to integrate it with their existing Intranet so everyone onsite would have access to view the drawings no matter where they were in the plant.  They wanted to stick with what they had (AMW) so it hasn't happened yet.  I'm going to keep dreamin' about it, but this might give you some ideas anyway....

Right I should explain,

basically I am using a specified tracking number per set of prints (the large number at the top right hand side)  to break down the project by job number - revision number- revision letter.  I have made the option of running a report on a job grouping to see who has the latest revision by job name.  You see it is grouped by a specified tracking number, but to decipher it I would need to have the job number memorized to follow the code.  I'm finding it easier to use the search by job method.  All of the information is the same, but the assending order it is displayed is different.  Meaning the job name appears from A - Z, and not alpha numeric.  easier to located what I looking for.

Here is an example of the report run using the "run by tracking number" method.  http://theswamp.org/lilly_pond/sestes/Blueprint-Tracker2.pdf?nossi=1

For the MS Access users out there, anyone know how I can create a form attached to a logon table (name, date) that wont allow you to proceed untill you have entered your name and date?  Basically I want to grant limited access to this database, but I want to keep track of who has been using it.
