Hi guys,

I don't know what is wrong with xref layers.
What I have to do to fix it?

Regards

That notification is for new XREF layers. It's just to let you know that the properties might need to be looked at. If you are happy with the settings, select all the layers in that filter, right click, and select "Reconcile Layer".

Just right click and select reconcile. It's basically making you confirm it will plot how you want when your plot style is applied to the xrefs.

Really? Just because you don't see a value in it, doesn't mean that there isn't.

Agreed

First, If there is a value, I have yet to find it.  Second, I am entitled to my "opinion", I hope.

Proves the 'value' of it that it can be turned off.

You live in a closed world, don't you. There is a value to it, maybe not to you, but there is.

Actually the value is indeed quite important if you deal with xrefs not generated on your companies layer / color standard.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean someone else won't find it useful. Since when are options in software an indicator of usefulness ?

Yaah there is a  value to being alerted that one just attached an XREF or inserted a BLOCK into one's
file and maybe, just maybe there might be some new layerss that might not plot the way you want them too.....

really...

and then when you plot, those new layers STILL don't plot the way you wanted them too...because, hell you really didn't
KNOW how you wanted them to plot or that the idiot that made the block or gave you the XREF had his #$it all BYOBJECT
or some other whacked ass settings....

Yeah LAYEREVAL really saved me some time.....now didn't it...NO

and you wont know that right away....or that the imbecile didn't really follow any standard...colors by object
linetypes and lineweights by object...LAYEREVAL is NOT going to solve that

So, because you have a situation that it doesn't work in, means that it doesn't work at all?
