slow grip selection/response
« on: May 12, 2011, 05:26:55 PM »
Has anyone else found selecting grips (on plines, blocks, etc) to be painfully slow? There is a hesitation when you select or unselect.
I am using C3D 2011 on a windows 7 x64 machine. 8 gb ram, not a slow machine...

Any thoughts on improving this? It seems like it needs to analyze the entire dwg ever time you select a grip...

thanks

Thanks for the suggestion. I played with the selection settings, but no apparent improvement. The hesitation also seems to happen even if I select nothing (drag an empty selection box) - there is a lag before the cursor catches up again after...

RIBBONCLOSE
RIBBON
and what is the setting for
RIBBONCONTEXTSELECT?

try using ZERO 0

It seems to be every file, not just this one. That's why I thought it might have been a setting of some kind.

Do you have the Properties window open (maybe docked)?
