How Can I Run AutoCAD 2000i Program In AutoCAD 2005?
« on: January 16, 2014, 02:12:00 PM »
I upgraded to AutoCAD 2005 from AutoCAD 2000i. I have a free, outdated, abandoned and unsupported mechanical toolbar menu program that was wriitten for AutoCAD 14 and 2000/2002. The program contains protected .lsp files and .ARX files along with a multitude of data files. Is there a program of some kind that can tell AutoCAD 2005 what to do to run the program?

It should work the same way. Possibly by adding it to the Appload Start-Up Suite?

ARX is highly version dependant.  You are probably SOL.
If you are going to fly by the seat of your pants, expect friction burns.

try {GreatPower;}
   catch (notResponsible)
      {NextTime(PlanAhead);}
   finally
      {MasterBasics;}
