Find Line Spaces in Block
« on: May 17, 2005, 10:41:11 AM »
Is there a lisp out there in the Swamp world that can find any lines that are not closed? This lisp should ID the areas that are closed. This will help in fixing the block quickly.

Example:

You have block and you hatch. The hatch intrudes on the block. You have set the hatch Gap tolerance 1 and the hatch still intrudes.

Thank you,

Brad

Here's a start: This should find all polylines (lightweight and traditional) that are not closed:

Code: [Select]
(ssget "x"
   '(   (0 . "lwpolyline,polyline")
        (-4 . "<not")
        (-4 . "&")
        (70 . 1)
        (-4 . "not>")
    )
)

When is a line closed? You can use the close prompt when drawing it, but that isn't like a pline, where it's an open or closed polygon. In line, it's just a prompt, not a property.
