Associative Dims (?)
« on: November 29, 2010, 02:22:29 PM »
What makes some dims zing off toward Alpha Centauri?

I have always thought its an dim assiciation to something that was deleted, but not today.

I wish I knew :(

It's been one of those things that's plagued me since I can remember using associative dims.

ever try using the TAB Key to toggle through the available snaps?

thus when the desired dimension start or end point is lit up, you will have a better change of keeping those dims from connecting to objects lying nearby in a parallel universe.

Just being sure... you're talking about assoc. dims that, when already placed, will magically have one or more node points shoot off into space, right?  Sometimes after something as simple as a regen, or moving unrelated objects, even.

Otherwise, I got another thread to start....  :-D

is the object or part of the object being dimensioned part of a BLOCK?

IF Yes, is that block scaled NON uniformly?

Nope. No blocks. In this case both are from a tank (circle) to a site wall. Both in xrefs
