How many of you civil types here locate/show mailboxes on your plans?

I did, at least on plans where the new construction was close to them.  My general rule was to follow the surveyor's lead and place anything that he shot into the data.

One City in which we work they are required to be shown on our plans. We must coordinate with the USPS postmaster for 'approved' locations.

We show them too.If they fall within the design plan, they may need to be moved. The city, county or State - or whoever- is udsually charged with moving and replanting all of the mailboxes involved. It's usually part of the R.O.W. agreement in our area.
