i think i want what you mean but the first time it doesn't do that it moves the whole leader arrowhead and all but if you try it a second time the arrowhead stays put but if it's already moved from the original position then well. why would it not work the same everytime? do i need to produce another drawing  :wink:

Yes I need another drawing :shock:  and maybe load the actual dwg file so I can reproduce the behavior.

cab i think it may be my home computer because i cannot replicate it here at work. i was thinking that it behaved correctly yesterday but wasn't sure if it was because of revisions to code or not. anyway all is well thanks
