I'm working on a model/rendering and I need to show as much detail as possible (it started off being "Here's you building, here's the site. This is what they look like together"). And so part of the exterior of the building's parking garage has a repeating pattern of "brick, some decorative square thingy, more brick" (see attached pic). What I've done so far was to create the walls using a generic wall style, and for the brick I simply put a 0.25" thick brick wall next to the other wall. The decorative square thingy is a 0.25" thick solid. Now the catch is this: The height and length of the brick will vary in some spots. So, is what I'm currently doing the right way to go about this? Or can I create a style that allows for variable length portions of the wall? The last time I created a real wall style (not just drag-drop from the Content Browser) was back in ADT3.
Any ideas/comments/suggestions are welcomed!
