DWF Viewer for Firefox
« on: December 07, 2004, 08:01:55 AM »
Does anyone know if Autodesk's DWF Viewer is available (or tweakable) for Firefox?  Here are the specs for it and judging from them, I would say not...
Quote
System Requirements

    * Intel® Pentium®–based PC, 200 MHz or higher
    * Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional or Home Edition, Windows 2000 (SP2 or higher), Windows 98 SE, Windows Me, or Windows NT® 4.0 (SP6 or higher)
    * 32 MB RAM minimum (96 MB recommended)
    * 800x600 VGA display or better
    * Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher (IE 5.5 required for Windows NT and Windows 2000, and recommended for all users)

It's not THAT big a deal because I have both the plugin for IE and the full program installed so as it sits right now, Firefox opens the dwf's in the program window.  I would just like it better if it opened them in the browser window.
Thanks,
Mike

I can't remember off hand, but doesn't it ask you for your default browser on installation ?

A link there sends us to Mozilla ActiveX Project
I don't think I'm going to worry about it.
