Sounds like he needs some add-on software. I don't know of any _easy_ way of doing contours in vanilla.

This cannot be done in plain jane AutoCad. This requires Land Development Desktop or Softdesk8 (depends on your version of Acad). If he is in a bind, I will be more than glad to do it for him. I am very cheap (in more ways than one. :oops:) If you know how to contour, it is very easy to do. if you have no knowledge of proper contouring, it is impossible to do - even in LDD. My suggestion is, if you do not have the software you are probably in over your head and need to farm out the project.


I am not mad, but I love it when someone who cannot do my job tells me how easy it is. 99% of all of the topos I get from other, untrained, firms are wrong. So much for easy,) :ugly:
