Viewport Mirrored drawing in modelspace ...
« on: July 07, 2010, 12:28:07 PM »
Has anyone ever run into a situation where your drawing in model space is reversed or mirrored when looking at it through a viewport in paper space ??

We have a rather large, complex drawing and in paper space, we have four viewports.  These viewports are mirroring the drawing.

I don't even know where to start looking for a solution to this problem other than asking you guru's here.

ANY thoughts on a possible solution are welcome and well appreciated.

Thanks.

Perhaps a twist angle is set using DVIEW?

We were thinking the same thing, so we created a new viewport and it still appeared mirrored.  Using twist will only rotate the drawing in the viewport correct ??  Or is there a selection to mirror as well ??  I've gotta go look, brb.

How about 3d view set to bottom?

I believe that any new viewports created on the same tab will replicate the properties of the initial viewport. Try making the viewport on a completely new tab.

I don't think DVIEW is the answer ... just throwing something out there  :-D

Ron, that is most interesting.  I hadn't thought of, nor looked into that before, but it could be a solution to another minor issued we've had in the office.  Thanks.
