I was thinking, it would be nice if we had a diagram of how different point style settings affected each other and the over all look of points in the drawing. Could we accomplish this in an collaborative effort? Or would it be to much work?

It's not really very hard.

There's a blub in the Help in the section called "Controlling the Appearance of Points in a Drawing" that lists the order of things, but it's a bit difficult to parse.  And it doesn't warn you about the bugs...

I agree a nice graphical representation would probably lay it out in an easy-to-understand manner.  It shouldn't really take very long to put something together, but I don't have time now.  I can probably get something put together in the next couple of days, unless someone beats me to it.  It really is rather straight-forward once you get the hang of it.
