Problem with Properties
« on: March 19, 2012, 06:58:46 PM »
I have a new computer using 2009. Everything seems to be working but all I get in the properties window is drawing properties.  If I select anything the box is completely blank.

Help!  What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Avanti

I seem to remember having that problem w/ inventor installed before cad.  I had to uninstall inventor then reinstall

PICKFIRST system variable?
If you are going to fly by the seat of your pants, expect friction burns.

try {GreatPower;}
   catch (notResponsible)
      {NextTime(PlanAhead);}
   finally
      {MasterBasics;}

Thanks, I didn't even think of that.  I was laid-off for two years and am gradually getting back up to speed.

Oh, how I wish it was the Pickfirst problem, but that's not it.

Hasn't anyone else had this problem?

Does it happen in every file?

AutoCAD has been reinstalled and it's the same in all files.  I'm baffled.

Check your system variables PICKFIRST set to 1.

IIIRC, this can be caused by registry cleaners that wipe out some needed data. A Repair or Reinstall should fix it, unless of course the offending program is wiping it again.
