Microstation to AutoCad

I have received some drawings that were converted from microstation. When I try to print these drawings they kick out my .ctb and replace it with a .stb and print only in color. I don't want them in color and these are the only drawings that are giving me this problem. Does any one have a solution to this problem?. Any help with this matter is greatly appreciated.
