Title: (C3d 08) Rotate Points
Post by: DanB on September 28, 2007, 09:48:45 AM
Has anyone found a way (LISP or other?) to automate point rotations (actually just the labels)? This is scrictly for display purposes of having a cluster of point labels overlapping and not legible. I have some code that Jeff M developed that worked in 2007 but is a no go for '08.

my guess is that you might want to set up some style, and then grab the offending points and slam then into a unique group with this other style assigned

Dan,
Grab SincPacC3D from HERE (http://www.ejsurveying.com/sincpacc3d.htm) It has an updated RotPts for use in 2008 plus a ton of other helpful utilities.

You're welcome. I should note that the RotPts really isn't needed any longer since you can set the rotation angle under the Point Properties in 2008.
