Last week MS released Beginner Developer Learning Center
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/beginner
.. and just a note about scale
Since Microsoft Visual Studio Express Editions were released, they've had 10 million downloads. .. pretty good for recreational developers.

I had a look today - thanks for the link Kerry.
Nothing new from what I've seen previously - just a formalised front end to vids they did about a year ago, however, it's a step in the right direction.
Cheers,
Glenn.

The LearnVisualStudio.net vids appear unchanged, but are still valid. I'm subscribed to their vid Library and there hasn't been much new for a while except some 'Atlas' stuff and some SQL updates.
There appears to be a couple of new ones at MSDN in the tips section.
As you say, a step in the right direction ..
There are a couple of starters designed for kids ... I may try those out on the lad here.
