Map Cleanup

I'm trying to run Map Cleanup on a dwg that has duplicate entities, but it is removing the duplicate entities entirely (ie - it deletes the duplicates as well as the first instance). What gives?

I'm pretty sure I went through the process correctly.

Or maybe I wasn't. I was thinking that if I just left it as "select all" it would work, but apparently you have to tell it what layer the objects are on too. I did that and it worked fine.

If you use MAP >>Drawing Cleanup frequently it is a good idea to SAVE the Cleanup Profile settings (.dpf) somewhere on the network, so that you can perform the same cleanup operations by simply loading the profile, and then proceeding to the finish line.
