Double Posting
« on: August 13, 2010, 09:15:31 AM »
I am sure alot of you are members of the Autodesk .Net Fourms
If you do not recieve a answer or non helpful answers would some of you veterans give me the rules on posting the same question here or Autdesk Fourms
I was guesing at least over a week.

The more I visit the this site I really like the feel or personality of it better than Autodesk Forums

Not that this would turn into a flame war, but a lot of users post both places in the beginning, and end up here for the rest of their careers.  I have not been back to the AD forums in  probabley 5 years.

Personally, if I see someone has posted to both (they usually do it at the same), I'll ignore both.

If someone double posts and receives the answer on one site, it's nice if they leave a hyperlink on the other site  or at least state  that they have received the answer to give closure to the post.

There are a lot of very talented users here, who will gladly help you learn, but they wont code for you.  And a thankyou goes a very long way.

Tony T used to be a member here but he got tired of being out classed.

Actually, I thought he was given a bit of stick from a few members here and ran away. Nobody really stands up to him on the desk ng's...

There are rules?
It's amazing what you can do when you don't know what you can't do.

Something rare or strange that I have seen (to bad did not saved the url links to those posts), but have seen that he answered very nicely and a lot of courtesy, in the msn c++ forums, or c#, or codeproject, if I recall right - nothing to do from the ones, one can see/read in the adesk.

I go to the adesk once and then, but only to the arx side.
