Oh goody, goody, gumdrops. Right now im dealing with an arch who thinks that all i (mechanical) need for space as a plenum (above the gyp and below the struct) is 0.5" and now i get to see pictures of moving building spaces (I wonder how many arch's will start thinking about this?!).
I suppose this building will be served with flexible pipe and ductwork?
"Yeah, no, couldn't you just travel the 30 stories with a duct sock"
"ah,ha. And that will work for about 10 minutes...But i have another question."
"Whats that?"
"Do your tenants plan on having indoor plumbing?"
"Well of course they do! What kind of question is that!?"
"Well if the apartment is moving, how is the pipe (which is rigged) supposed to stay attached to the fixtures?!"
