Using "Select Similar" to select more than a few hundred COGO points seems to crash C3D2009 pretty reliably.

I've actually been seeing a lot of C3D crashes today - probably 10 or so.  That's at least double the average daily crash quota.  Must be one of those days...

Just a whole lot goin' on lately...professionally and personally.  Nothing "tragic" or anything...just very busy.
Been watching your political career aspirations with interest.............some folks'll do anything for attention!  :ugly: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

well ... some people might think that .. but hey, you never know unless you try ...

Anyhow, I have a full schedule for the next several weeks ... appearances, debates, interviews ... the whole gamut ... even if I lose, I will still have something to say ... it was fun ...

People at our place get crashes (but I never do),

1) Middle button zooming or panning.

2) Plot error.

I've no idea how they do it because I'm really stable at the moment.

I'm surprised no one has answered "What doesn't?!" to the question in the subject line.

Publisher. Just did 5 sets of 25. First three came out fine. The last two crashed at the same sheet.

Darn it... should've kept quiet... just had second crash in 20 minutes... both times doing different things :(

If this is only happening with one drawing, you might have means to find the errant bits of the file that are causing the problem.  You have MAP, which gives you means to query all or part of a drawing file.  Starting an empty drawing, attaching the problem file and running a query on it will allow you to identify any problem entities and bring into a new drawing everything else.

Thanks for that suggestion Dino. This is more than one drawing. Its so far been 7 drawings in one folder, in which I am checking for standards compliance. The whole thing is driving me potty. NOTHING is to standard, and the boss has asked me to find the problems and put them right. I really hope thats not what my job is going to become :(
Anyway, thanks again, I'll try running each drawing thru that as I start each one and see if that stops the spate of crashes I'm having.

Following on from what Dino said...it would be handy if you knew what you had to look for, for non compliance. That way you could write a lisp routine to automate the process......or bribe me with a bottle of Ted, and I'd do it for you !!!!  :lmao: :lmao:

Seriously, I haven't yet had to earn my keep here. About time it started.  :-D
