Is it possible to have a dynamic block in a multi-view block? I am tring to create a exterior wall light that has different mounting heights and is either switched or a photocell light.
I have created the 3d light, front view and I have the dynamic block. They are all assembled in the multi-view block but the dynamic block lost all the properties.
Thanks for the help

Dynamic Blocks do not do 3D. Sorry. :-(

That also sounds like ADT, and I think Dynamic Blocks behave differently in verticals. Not to say you can do what you want, but be aware of the differences.

Sorry, yes I am running ADT 2006. The top 2d view of the multi-view block is the only part that I want to be dynamic.

You could try to associate your parameters to the top view but my gut tells me it's not going to work.

Why not make the dynanic block act as the mvb? What i mean is, if you copy/paste each block in the multi view block into your dynamic block and create a vis state for each one, you should get the same effect as the mvb apart from it wont change automatically
