How do I stop the Adobe Acrobat Toolbar for loading every time I open a drawing?

Searching the regestry, i found it under:
HYKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Adobe/6.0/AutoCAD/2000/Loader

Name "Module" Type "REG_SZ"
If you rename the file PDFMAcad.arx found at:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\PDFMaker\AutoCAD\2000\PDFMAcad.arx

Autocad loads an empty menu at that location.

So i deleted the regestry entry, and that solved the problem.

You can also uninstall that portion of Acrobat. Under add/remove programs,
the uninstall for acrobat lets you change the install.
jsut remove the autoCAD portion in the creator.

you will need the CD/Files you installed with though

I didn't even know there was such a thing!

Is it part of its own menu or something?
I've seen the toolbar in Word and other Office programs, but I haven't seen one for AutoCAD.

When the ARX file is loaded, it adds itself to your standard menu, at a default location.
I slows down the drawing l,oad, and it screws up my toolbar locations (on monitor 2)

i added Adobe PDF as one of my plotters.  So whenever I print, i can selet Adobe, HP(small) or HP(big).  I've never had it as a pull down or have it load up automatically tho.

Interesting.
