Dynamic Block of Doors ?
« on: January 15, 2011, 03:14:45 PM »
this is probably basic to you guys out there, but im just getting into this.

ive heard there is a dynamic block that i can place a block of a door, then with simple clicks (not ro, mi) i can change direction, flip it, or possibly what would be really cool, if i could change the size. all with the same block.

is it possible?

thanks in advance!  - i am in awe of the stuff you guys are making cad do, its all still a foreign language to me though.

first make your door block

then in block editor add the Flip Action
and or Stretch action, If you want to ONLY stretch door in 3" increments set that as the linear values...

There is already a dynamic door block on the tool palettes, on the architectural tab. Open it in the block editor and see how that was done.
