Hello all,
Here's what I'm trying to do. In model, space I want to move my orbit around, set it to perspective, and then get a 2d block that looks like the perspective view. I've been able to do this with the parallel view. It took some trial and error, but it worked. Is it possible for me to get the perspective view, and make it into a 2d block. It is easier for me to pass a 2d block to my other ppl.
My process for the parallel is...
use orbit to get the correct angle and look of the objects.
use ucs and set it equal to the view.
name the usc. So it is easier to find again.
rotate the ucs around the x-axis -90.
draw my modeling section line.
correct for any off placement.
then create 2d block section of the entire object.
This gives me a nice 2d block exactly like my view from the beginning, but it is a parallel. Any ideas on how to make this a perspective block?
Thanks all,
Alex
