hmmmmm....

Just got the new version, installed it (twice already as most of the commands didnt work from doing a full install)

Now its running but MY GOD its SERIOUSLY SLOW!!!

It also seem sto be using a hell of a lot more processor power as the 2 ickle fans are running non stop.

Anyone else having this problem? or am i just crap???? :?:

How much RAM do you have?  512 Recommended.  What about free disk space?

I have a P3 here at work with 512MB RAM
It seems as though I can load only so mnay partial cui files then it crashes.

I had a fatal crash this morning and I could not re start AutoCAD
I then removed my acad.cui file from its directory then AutoCAD started right up.

After it started, I had to ditch a partil cui file, I then put the acad.cui back and it was OK

Luckily we are gettign new machines this week here at work.

Got Norton AV running?  If so, lose the POC.

Go to taskmanager and see what is hogging processor, ram and stuff like that. It may not be 2k6 but virus or internet activity(spyware)

it takes it a good bit to open but other then that it is ok.

I also don't know how much of 2k6 is using .NET such as the layer dialogue box... it slows things down and adds delay...

it is interesting about the CUI's crashing AutoCad... That is not a promising sign...
