Title: multiple viewports
Post by: drizzt on October 15, 2008, 12:47:51 PM
A coleque of mine is having a problem with multiple viewports. After he creates so many viewports, an older viewport will disappear. It's like there is a limit somewhere to the number of viewports that can be created.

As always,

Thank you for your help in advance.

There IS a limit, but it is controllable with the MAXACTIVEVP variable.  The default used to be 16 but I think recent releases have it at 40.

My pleasure drizzt . . . it has been a while since I have been able to come up a real answer for someone.  It has now been 5 full months in AutoCAD exile and I have been mostly relegated to pontifications along with a few wisecracks thrown in.  You guys are even behaving well enough there are not even many janitorial chores to perform.
