Title: entity selection from "dwgcompare" results
Post by: vincent.r on November 09, 2017, 03:32:42 AM
hi,

Recently I came to know Acad has feature which compares the drawings. I do have two drawings one is generated from some tool and other is modified. I compared both drawings in DWGCOMPARE. Results are as per expectation. Now I want to select these added/deleted entities to save in xref/blocks. I tried ssget filters but it doesn't work. Anybody have any idea ?

drawings attached, not able to save results hence screenshot attached.

There is a link on the app page for technical help on this app.
https://apps.autodesk.com/en/Detail/Index?id=136068404068200943&appLang=en&os=Win32_64

BTW: The Drawing Compare feature in BricsCAD v18 is multiple orders of magnitude faster than this app from Autodesk in AutoCAD.
In the demo we saw last month at the Bricsys conference, BricsCAD compared two drawings in a matter of seconds, where the Autodesk version was going to take maybe 30 minutes.

The link mentioned for help has nothing for entity selection.

BricsCAD not useful for me. I need to do pre and post processing in Acad.

Well, you generally get what you pay for, and the link I was referring to is this one:

Good luck.
