For those of you who don't know all available variables and would like a printed form, here is where you can print one out
http://www.hyperpics.com/system_variables/downloads/AutoCAD_System_Variables.pdf
It's 92 pages long but very informative with values, whats effected within AutoCAD and a fairly good description :)
It also has the version(s) the variable is available in

Good one Craig.

downloading now... ThanX!~

An additional option is to download this (http://www.smadsen.com/sysvardlg.htm) humble sysvar dialog along with this (http://www.theswamp.org/lilly_pond/smadsen/sysvarindex.txt?nossi=1) sysvar file, which is updated for 2006.
I.e., download these files from smadsen.com:
sysvardlg.lsp (http://www.smadsen.com/lisps/sysvardlg.lsp)
sysvardlg.dcl (http://www.smadsen.com/lisps/sysvardlg.dcl),
but leave the sysvarindex.txt and instead download it from the lilly pond:
sysvarindex.txt (http://www.theswamp.org/lilly_pond/smadsen/sysvarindex.txt?nossi=1)
Type "2006" in the search field, select "Keywords" and hit the search button. It'll display all new system variables for 2006.

Gotta admit, it's the worst reader I've ever written (too darn sensitive), but thanks Michael.
I'll probably never get around to rewrite it, though.

Very nice Stig. I do like a printed copy, too bad you have no way to print it from yours. :( Could be an add-on?

Hence the words "additional option"
I may do a rewrite one day that also exports, imports, prints and all that but not anytime soon. You're more than welcome to do anything you like with the code. For example, adding a pretty-print export?

[img ]url[/ img] Where do you intend to link from?

you also have "images" located in Swamp links on the top of your page....
Create your own folder and upload your image, then use the URL of the image and link it to your post....
