Topic: Linetypes

Would it be possible to create a linetype to do this, (see Image), without using shape files or using lisp?

I'm trying to create a CAD standard for cable trunking/tray/ladder but keep it as idiot proof as possible.

The linetype also has to be of a variable width to show differing sizes of trunking.
