2007 - Copy & paste
« on: April 28, 2006, 12:22:46 PM »
It works fine on 2007, but I save our dwgs as a 2000 dwg and when other people open them they seem to lose there ability to copy and paste... :?

This is not cool, I will have to drop down back to 2000 if thats the case....

2007 is getting a low score from me!   :realmad:

Something about that doesn't sound right.
I don't have 2007, so I can't prove or disprove what you're saying, but CTRL+C and CTRL+V is Windows functionality.  Is this problem occurring on multiple machines with 2000 loaded?  Have you tried Copy with Base Point, Paste As Block, Paste Special, etc.?

_pasteclip appears to be nonoperative in a translated document.
Copy works as expected

Hi,

But the question is if you configured your AutoCAD v.2007 to save how AutoCAD v.2004, doesn't work the Copy&Paste commands???

See: Menu Tools -> Options -> Tab Open and Save. Select "save as AutoCAD 2004/2004LT"

I don't know if I'm explain very well  :-(

Bye

Yolanda

I know an number of 2007 LT users get a pop up alert with an ARX problem, doenst go until theyve clicked it for about 3mins.This happens every time they paste something.Quite frustrating.Maybe something ishnt quite right with the copy paste function in 2007, hard to beleive though itd get that far without it being noticed.

I am unable to send a support Request because of the limited access to the Internet that I have here. I will bring it up with upper management, and hopefully I will be able to soon.

I can understand you fruistration I almost had 2007 removed from my machine and replaced with 2006.Im going to try and ride the wave of problems with the software for a bit longer and see what can be done about them.
