hey guys i got a question about hatching. i am trying to do a hatch for 1/2 glass in section. the problem is that the hatch is not centered so it looks ugly. is there a way to center it?

Yes. You need to use the snapbase command. Type snapbase, choose a point where you want the hatch to be centred by using the snap from button. So pick the hatch insert point, then pick the point you want the hatch centred; then type he (hatch edit) pick your hatch and return and its done.
Is this clear as mud?
