first impressions are good.

Problems though.

Chuck Gabriels hotkeys doesn't work under 2007. This is a downer I use this a lot.
CADwerx docbar 2.0 also doesn't work.

According to Autodesk a lot of the arx stuff will require to be upgraded to suit 2007.

In a blog post from Mark Douglas here:

http://mdouglas.blogs.com/in_the_dynamic_interface/2006/03/autocad_2007_dy.html

Quote
The second enhancement is the ability to change Dynamic block properties during Insert. This is a GREAT and welcomed addition. Now you don't need to actually place your dynamic block then adjust sizes or visibility states. This makes it much faster to insert Dynamic blocks with parameter changes. Especially if you have the properties palette anchored to the left or right side of your screen.

I can't tell you how excited I was to read that. So, when 2007 finally showed up today, I installed it in eager anticipation. Am I missing something? I've been unable to find a way to change a dynamic blocks visual state while inserting.

I sent an email to Mr. Douglas as well as commented to the article... Would anyone care to point me in the right direction?

The discussion revolving around compiling ObjectARX code for AutoCAD 2007 has been split and moved here. :)

I received an email from byron at cadwerx, he says that hopefully Docbar will be ready for the end of next week for use with 2007.
