Dynamic Block resets

I have a DB of a door frame for a pair of doors with a removable mullion or without a mullion.  I have one user that when they copy this block from one file to another the block resets itself to the original size.  I can not reproduce this error on my workstation.

Any ideas?

does the block ALREADY exist in their dwg?  I'm thinking the block is already defined, thus the "reset"

Yes it's already in there and it is set to varios legnths via the DB properties. :|
