Exploding Blocks
« on: December 14, 2005, 11:52:21 AM »
Hi all,

I'm working with r14 and I received files from an Architect that has a lot of
blocks in them. If I try to plot them as they are all of the dimensions associated with
the blocks are too heavy to plot correctly and almost impossible to read. I know
there's a routine out there that will explode blocks and leave the entities as they
were originally drawn....when I try to explode them, the dimensions nearly disappear.

Does any one have a routine that will take care of this problem. I used to have one....but
lost it somehow.

TIA

Why don't you just loop through the block, and make the dimensions print better.  You can assign them to a layer that will plot better when plotting from your location.

Ask the architect for his plot style and they should plot perfectly.
