I came straight from 2000 to 2006 and I just stumbled on this by accident, but did you know that



Match Properties now matches layer settings between viewports!


This is just totally awesome. :-D

You can also match properties between drawings (SDI 0) using CNTRL+TAB.

Matchprop between drawings has been available since AutoCAD 2000. Providing you are not working in Single Drawing mode any version of AutoCAD from 2000 up should be able to do this.
