mouse problem

i've had this problem before and don't remember how i solved it. my boss had his computer reconfigured by IT guy and now his mouse is screwed up. it pans when he rolls the wheel and he has no middle button pan. i tried typing mbuttonpan and going into his control panel and changing his mouse settings but no go. how do i help him? thanks

1. Reload mouse drivers
2. Fire IT guy

yeah that was my thoughts exactly. i told him the quickest fix was a reinstall

Also AutoCAD has its OWN scroll driver so you need to disable the mouse scroll driver for AutoCAD. You can do that in the mouse troubleshooter in the control panel.

8) Have you checked if the SCROLL BARS are switched in the autocad options, display tab ?
Also check the mouse settings in the control panel.

fyi

i fixed my bosses mouse problem. it turns out that all i had to do was go to options/display and turn off his scroll bars.
