I haven't made much effort at all at reading the code but are you taking bar sizes into account?

No Bob, The output is very generic and is indicative only ..
Personally, I'm surprised that an Architect would attempt to represent reo' unrelated to the actual requirements. ..
kdub, kdub_nz in other timelines.

How do you make sure the bars clear each other or anything else without taking bar diameters into account?  For that matter, how do you generic something like this?  Spacing differring....grah

clearances for rebar in concrete does vary. Say your concrete is exposed to earth, you need more clearance because the earth will deteriorate the concrete at a faster rate then say air. Granted, this is over an extended time periord but it must be accounted for in the design.

There are some areas, Lagniappe for example, that don't allow attachments.
