Big Opps
« on: October 28, 2005, 07:16:58 PM »
I had just completed a new workstation. After I configured a profile & copied it as the default windows profile, & logon as a new user, AutoCAD is not starting up. It is because some paths are set to a profile of another user. Is there a fix for this in lisp, script, profile, registry, etc.?

We are using WinXP Pro & ADT 2005.

Thanks!

Did you install with a profile that had full administrative rights?

Yes. It mainly saved the settings in the registry. Is there a way to undo?

I don't think so.  Does the user have admin rights?  IT may not be happy but doing that should work and if he is using a vertical app like ADT he probably need them at any rate - at least confirm full read-write privileges to any place in his search path.

Yup, all users got full admin. I just need to reset AutoCAD. I think I may have gotten it though.
