Topic: MTEXT 90* on 2006 ?

I would like to know...
Is there any variable in AutoCAD 2006 to when we select a MTEXT rotated 90 degree
for normal horizontal editing ? like the old style ?

also,...I know there is a variable to set the MTEXT old style...but I can't remember..

hmmm....I have writed to AutoDESk....and seem to not heve a solution...
