I'm new to lisp and am trying my best to get to grips with it, but I'm having a few problems.

I am finding hard to get to grips with what some of the things i see in lisp programmes actually mean.

I can get most of them, i.e. defun - define function, but a few are baffling me.

Is there a online guide to what each command actually means or will I have to buy a book to get to grips with this?

If i do need to get a book, can anyone recommend a good one?

Cheers in advance
Andy

I'm still getting to grips myself with LISP,big learning curve ahead of me.I've noticed that its alot easier now to understand LISP,now that I'm alot more familiar with commands and system variables.I think when I'm at the same level as some of the others with LISP on this forum theyll be old bald men!Or are they already :)

Site? Sitg's site. (There is alot in there.)
And Kennys site is def. a read.

Book? I would grab Dave's book before the site goes down. (Your gonna need that book when you get into Visual Lisp.)
