Does anyone know of a way to get an AEC Wall to automatically trim itself around an AEC column?

I remember reading about how to accomplish just that on the Autodesk website several years ago, it may still be there. I wanted to do it to show studs in a wall, but as I remember I couldn't get it to work exactly like I wanted.

In ADT 2005 right click on the wall and choose Interference condition, click add, then follow the command line to remove the wall. You may well know this, how to apply it automatically as you insert columns, sorry dont know, although I will liook further.
