If you have VLIDE open, you can go to Debug > Abort Evaluation; otherwise, try Ctrl+C.

Bonjour

Ok with Lee Mac.
But, sometimes this is not working and strangely, it worked with this combination of keys CTRL+Pause

Thanks Lee, Didier,

The abort evaluation has never worked for me in this case, believe me I tried.  I only use that to break when animating.
I used to use Ctrl-Break, current keyboard doesn't have the break key.  Just found a work around to add the break key.
I think you're actually utilising the Break key Didier as your key would be Pause/Break.
I'll try Ctrl-C.

Asked same question long time ago and I am out to 40+ years lisping, sorry Lee but Ctrl+C has never worked for me but I was not running inside VLIDE would have to be Blade for me. Will try Ctrl+Break do have that key.
Code: [Select]
(setq x 1)
(repeat 100000
(princ (strcat "\n" (rtos (setq x (1+ x)) 2 0)))
)

NOPE none of these.
Ctrl+C
Ctrl+break
Break
Pause
Fn+pause

A long time ago, I ran into a recommendation for another language but it has worked ever since, for almost anything.
