UDP point group query odd behavior
« on: July 02, 2024, 12:41:50 PM »
Hi folks. I use custom UDPs with cogo points to manage trees and I use queries in point groups to drive their symbology.
This process works well overall, but I have had issues with the queries getting messed up after I close out of the drawings. Seems like it randomly changes the UDP the queries are pointed to - but it does seem to do it consistently within each dwg. For example, if I have a UDP for "tree condition" and have a query to find all the points where "tree condition" = "good", the next time I open the dwg, the query may change "tree condition" to "tree species" or some other UDP in the database, and it will be like that (same change) for all the point groups in the dwg. Totally breaks the symbology/functionality.
So
Has anyone else seen this behavior?
Does anyone know of a fix?
Does anyone have any LISP solutions to rebuild the queries/point groups?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
