For anyone wanting to learn C# . . .
« on: November 14, 2023, 08:04:29 PM »
I've been reviewing a course published on Udemy ( being used by a couple people I'm helping )

https://www.udemy.com/course/ultimate-csharp-masterclass/

This is a really well structured course presented by an excellent tutor.

It's currently priced at
$18.99  USD
Original Price$74.99
Discount75% off
with 2 days left at this price!

If anyone is even just thinking about learning, this price is ridiculously good value.
Even at full price, I'd recommend it for anyone.

Krystyna also has a LINQ course available.
. . . and a couple about interview questions.

Stay well,
Regards,
Kerry

Sometimes the question is more important than the answer.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I'm retired (currently still hired). Can you recommened which one is the right way to choose: Learning C# or Flutter?
I'm interested in creating Dekstop Application and Mobile Application. My basic programming is Turbo C, C++, VB6, VBA and AutolLisp (Offcourse none is 'applicable' for creating Desktop and mobile app).

both ?
would that be weird.

Flutter uses Dart . . . does Dart have other uses ??

I've only done web stuff for hobby projects so don't feel qualified to answer really.

. NET MAUI (cross platform ) uses C# , which has lots of other uses.

s'pose it depends on how you want to uses your C++ knowledge,  could use it for writing .NET modules to support your C#.

and depends how seriously you take retirement.

I retired 8 years ago but haven't really slowed down much . . . except now I do gardening instead of go to the gym.

can get my zone minutes and steps by mowing the lawn and pulling weeds from between the veggies.

at the end of the day, the C# would probably fit into your current knowledge sets pretty easily.
