Long story short
« on: June 08, 2023, 08:13:47 PM »
Unity3D ( Game  Engine ) have been developing DOTS ( Data-Oriented Technology Stack ) for quite a while.
They have recently released the full system. Till now parts were fully finished, other parts were usable but not recommended for 'production projects', though some people has been using them successfully :)
This will be an interesting door to go through. < makes me wish I was 30 years younger >

Was watching a tube by Hugo Cardose ( Code Monkey ) on the release  @ https://youtu.be/Pet4gjoVxBc
. . . . but that could be a technology rabbithole for some.

Noticed a ref in the side menu to a Tim Corey video.
Thought it may be interesting for some people.
He offers an interesting analogy in this vid.

I tried to help my daughter out with C# and Unity… don’t remember what it was, but had just got finished telling my daughter it was a best practice to do.. um it was either a using statement or a try catch, unity spit something back like, ‘syntax not allowed here’…

Started the next long story, to become an awesome programmer, you have to learn to just grind through stuff.. walked out. The next day, she said she solved it, her eyes were red like she had been on stack overflow all night
